Join our Global Consumer Products division as Textile Quality Manager and secure all legal product requirements, safety aspects and manage necessary escalations. You’ll support the team in all aspects concerning quality processes and its implementation.

AWARENESS FOR CRITICAL ISSUES

 

In this role, we’ll trust you to foster the company awareness for all critical quality and product issues. You’ll also secure all compliance and risk related topics. You’ll establish new processes, standards and forms as well as create and maintain guidelines which are implemented in the development schedule.

 

LEGAL COMPLIANCE

 

As Textile Quality Manager, it will be your responsibility to ensure all products are produced in compliance with legal and the company’s requirements. You’ll analyse the required markets according to their laws and guidelines, implement them in the running development schedule and negotiate claims. Moreover, you’ll observe and ensure all product development specifications according to country law requirements.

 

QUALITY ASSURANCE

 

Within quality assurance, you’ll work on projects especially in regard to product development and define, document and maintain all minimum chemical and physical requirements. Furthermore, you’ll prepare all relevant forms and documentation needed as per international requirements. Additionally, you’ll define document standards and manage potentially difficult situations.

 

ALIGNMENT & PARTNER RELATIONS

 

This position allows you to align and secure all relevant parts in risk and compliance-related topics. The aim is to foster TQM thinking in and outside the organisation. In addition, you’ll collaborate with internal and external partners and will be in close cooperation with our existing suppliers in Europe and Asia. Moreover, you’ll set guidelines and negotiate costs with laboratories.

 

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Expert knowledge of quality management and risk assurance
  • Advanced MS Office skills, Adobe Illustrator is a plus
  • Structured, communicative team player with an eye for detail
  • Completed studies in textile and/or fashion business with focus on quality compliance topics OR studies in quality management with focus on textile business
  • Fluent in English
  • Travel up to 10%
