For our location in Vienna we are currently looking for a dedicated, self-motivated candidate with passion for supply chain, who wants to join our Global Sourcing Organization for the AGRANA Fruit Division in Vienna, Austria in Raw Material Delivery Operations (m/f/d).


Home Office option up to 50% working time after the onboarding process


Purpose of the job:

Organization and execution of raw material flows for our production plants.

This role will be responsible for coordination and fulfilment of raw material deliveries from AGRANA’s Central Warehouse to our plants. Also, you will team up with our raw material suppliers and agree on direct shipments to our production units.  To ensure deliveries for our business are on time and in-full, this position partners with our production facilities, our purchasing and quality teams, the central warehouse and our raw material suppliers. It handles carrier and supplier communication, deviations, non-conformities, backloads and performance review with all partners involved. Keys to success include sound business judgment, ability to defeat challenges, data driven decision making and pragmatism. In your job you identify areas for improvement that support our team’s vision of efficient ways of working. You also help shape and follow up on our performance metrics

Your responsibilities:

  • You manage raw material flows to our European production units based on monthly forecasts, inventory placement and purchasing strategy.
  • You arrange direct deliveries to our plants or deliveries from our central warehouse and manage raw material suppliers and transport partners according to service level agreements (SLA).
  • You also handle container and air freight movements to our production facilities outside Europe. For this you partner with freight forwarders and our central warehouse and you organize documents required  for export.
  • You team-up with our quality departments, category purchasers, raw material suppliers, our central warehouse and  carriers to address and resolve shipment defects. You own non-conformity workflows; organize removals of raw material to our suppliers or our central warehouse.
  • You help shape and review key performance metrics (transportation, inventory health, …) and trigger action across different stakeholders.
  • You own invoice verification and release workflows for freight movements.
  • You support new initiatives to improve supply-chain performance and cost efficiency.


Your profile:

  • Ideally degree in economics and/or logistics
  • 1-3 years of experience in the field of freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain or similar
  • Ability to deal with daily operational challenges swiftly and efficiently
  • IT literate personality. feels comfortable with Excel to structure ideas and use for reporting.
  • SAP knowledge desirable
  • Organized, self-starter and quick learner. Strong ability to influence
  • Proactive ‘can do’ attitude. Flexible and results oriented
  • Fluency in English, good German skills required (at least B1), any other language is an advantage

  • Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 36.442,84 gross per year. However, our compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries
