The department Group Controlling & Methods is responsible for all analysis, scenario calculation, valuation and similar financial controlling topics of RBI Group and RBI AG. This includes preparation of financial analysis, understanding complex financial, legal, regulatory and risk aspects relating to the performance of business units and functions and relating reporting to internal and external bodies and comprises all business lines and all reporting entities in the Group.

For these exciting tasks and responsibilities, we are looking for a passionate student who is available from now on for about a year.

What you can expect:  

• Accompany the valuation process for strategic projects and potential transactions
• Perform financial assessments on ad-hoc requests
• Support in market- and trend analysis
• Contribute to the preparation of decision papers for the top management
• Assist in preparation of board meetings and workshops
• Support in ad-hoc related topics and daily business

This checklist may help you with your decision:

• You are an active master student in the field of business administration, corporate finance, economics, mathematics or natural sciences (e.g. physics, etc.)
• Your written and oral English skills are very good, German is a plus
• Dealing with MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and various IT tools is no problem for you
• You have strong analytical skills and a high level of initiative and perseverance
• You are a real team player, but you also enjoy working independently
• You have first experience in corporate finance and valuation models
