Specialist in Foundry Procurement (m/f/d)

Job description/tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop supply base for assigned category to support current and future business needs to achieve key objectives of Time to Market, Total Cost of Ownership and Supply Continuity
  • Serve as commercial direct responsible individual for assigned suppliers to enhance strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Continuous negotiation of commercial conditions and management of RFQ process to support new projects and mass production products
  • Conduct Business Reviews to build and sustain a strong supplier relationship
  • Support supplier contract review and negotiation
  • Perform market intelligence and regular reporting for benchmarking and strategies formation
  • Deploy key process improvements to support the new organization
  • Limited business travel required

Education/experience:

  • Master degree (Business Administration, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management or similar)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to cooperate in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good spoken and written proficiency in English (German is a plus but not required)
  • Interest in technology and operation
