Spare Parts Specialist (f/m/d)

Location: Zeltweg

We are looking for an experienced colleague to fill the position of Spare Parts Specialist in Division Mechanical Cutting, Parts & Services Department. This role will be responsible to drive spare parts sales, focus on parts and components lifecycle management as well as support the sales organization in answering technical related questions via the technical support desk. This position reports to the Portfolio Manager Parts within Commercial Parts & Services department.
You are an energetic individual with substantial knowledge of aftermarket business. You want to be part of a pro-active team which is passionate about the aftermarket business.


  • Identify spare parts sales opportunities and support in the mapping of market share of relevant parts category
  • Prepare maintenance-, critical- as well as repair parts lists to reflect “the right parts” in the parts manuals
  • Responsible for creation of component maintenance practices supporting equipment lifecycle cost (LCC) models
  • Work closely with Sales Areas to collect and analyze information on the equipment reliability of parts and components
  • Handle Spare Parts Item Master Maintenance
  • Coordinate global parts sales, inventory planning and forecasting, value creation and dialogue
  • Responsible for Technical Support Desk (TSD) for Spare Parts


  • HTL degree with minimum 3 to 5 years of proven track record in designated fields of work
  • A technical background or track record in a B2B industrial working environment is a preference
  • > 3 years’ experience in field service or spare parts management
  • Strong communication skills – mastery of conversational and technical English
  • Good PC user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • International travel will be required for this role (up to 10%)
  • High motivation and drive

As required by Austrian federal law we hereby state, that the legal minimum salary according to the Austrian collective agreement for this position amounts from € 42 000 gross per year, depending on qualification and experience we offer an adequate overpayment.
