Job Description:

  • The S&OP Manager is the expert for demand planning, network optimization, and capacity planning supporting various projects including; monthly demand plans, consumption models, network and production strategy optimization
  • Responsible for long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of as is process and system setup
  • Design of the target S&OP Process and document it in a Hoerbiger Handbook
  • Ensure the implementation of S&OP and follow up the process
  • Schedule a complete and plausible picture of the demands based on customer orders and requirements of all internal forecasting system
  • Develop dashboards to provide transparency and single source of truth across functional areas to ensure alignment and optimal results
  • Manage S&OP activities that provide analysis which drive business decisions relative to improving service level and efficiency
  • Development and control Monthly Forecast Meeting for planning and Capacity Check
  • Define Escalation Process for long term capacity adjustment actions
  • Control of Data Management accuracy


  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, logistics, technical discipline or equivalent focus
  • Comprehensive understanding of ERP system process and key system functions related to demand planning, master scheduling and inventory management
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project management
  • Business fluent in English, other languages are an advantage
