As Social Media Manager Gaming your key responsibility will be to ensure that the company’s gaming priorities are communicated across our social channels (@redbullgaming) and curate Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, TikTok and any other established (e.g. Discord) or new platforms that arise.

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATION

 

In this role, you’ll create differentiated and authentic gaming-related content, drive funnel growth through targeted earned outcome, community-first managed social channels. The goal is to grow and foster reach and engagement within the target audience to promote Red Bull assets e.g. events, teams, and athletes.

 

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

 

You’ll guide the editorial tone, voice, and communication across the mentioned categories. You will ensure that we speak credibly to endemic audiences credibly, as well as mainstream audiences, to bolster community growth and brand credibility.

 

GAMING INITIATIVES

 

You’ll drive the awareness of Red Bull Gaming initiatives (Events, Teams, Athletes, etc.). In addition, you’ll provide on-site social support and best practices for global activations and events.

 

ANALYTICS & REPORTING

 

You’ll manage social media publishing tools, analytics tools, and platform CMS. Also, you’ll make data-based decisions and develop best practices to share within the countries.

 

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • 2+ years of experience publishing content to big brand Social Media channels
  • Strong understanding of Gaming Industry as well as strong personal interest in Gaming
  • A strong understanding of social-first storytelling, photo and video content creation is key along with platform-specific functions, and analytics and tools to make data-based programming decisions
  • Great Photoshop and Adobe Premiere skills
  • Ability to lead/coordinate a small team
  • Strong team player, structured, and well-organized person
  • University degree or relevant work experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Travel up to 10%

However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
