THE POSITION

As of now we are seeking a Funding Administrator (m/f/d) to join our site in Vienna. The focus of the position will be support and enable in alignment with the Funding Manager and Subject Matter Experts as appropriate funded projects within BI RCV.

Tasks & responsibilities
  • Provide internal expertise in various topics regarding funding, e.g. project acquisition, project planning, grant writing
  • Evaluate existing and new funding opportunities
  • Documentation and monitoring of funded projects within BI RCV and of funding opportunities
  • Coordinate and consult on grant-related topics with other business units
  • Proactively highlight and present new funding opportunities in alignment with strategic documents
Requirements
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in combination with first experience in the preparation of project proposals
  • Ability to familiarize oneself with different content areas relevant to funding (for example, biopharmaceuticals, clinical research,…) and to translate requirements on the part of funding agencies into the respective technical language of the individual department
  • Experience in working in interdisciplinary teams, innovative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Accuracy, service-oriented and proactive appearance and contribution of new ideas
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in German and English

For this position we offer an interesting salary package considering your expertise and personal competencies as well as your professional experience. We are obliged by law to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement, which amounts to € 37,756.32 gross per year (full-time) for this position, whereby an overpayment is possible.
