Key Tasks

As Regional Sales Manager for the European Public Transport market you are responsible for the corresponding customer portfolio. With your understanding of the specifics of the railways industry and the local market conditions you will develop solutions for new and existing customers based on the Frequentis portfolio. In this function, you report directly to the head of the Regional Sales Unit Central Europe and further:

  •  You take the responsibility to sell our Public Transport portfolio to customers in France, Italy, Spain and additional countries in the Regional Sales Unit Central Europe
  • You proactively coordinate all regional sales activities, your focus is on the acquisition of new projects
  • You actively manage customer requirements to fit the product & solution portfolio of Frequentis
  • You work closely with the product specialists of our Public Transport business unit and provide feedback from the market to develop suitable service packages
  • You are intensively involved in the development of the sales strategy of the Regional Sales Unit Central Europe
  • With your sales expertise and your dynamic approach, you set the tone for the entire Public Transport sales team. In the medium term, you can further distinguish yourself in this role

Key Qualifications

  • You’re are familiar with the challenges and specifics of the railways industry
  • You are experienced in selling ICT solutions to government authorities and/or to the railways industry
  • You have an excellent commercial acumen and understand consultative selling
  • You have a high degree of initiative and are used to working independently in a matrix organization
  • You hold a university degree in communications engineering/information technology, business management or equivalent job experience
  • You are business fluent in English, German skills are a plus and your willingness to travel is high (min. 30%), additionally you have an excellent command of either French or Italian or Spanish

Annual Gross Salary

EUR 70.000

Your individual salary is based on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive total package.
