THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a well-organized and self-motivated Regional Digital Event Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our RCV (Regional Center Vienna) Human Pharma Commercial Department at BI’s site in Vienna. Your focus will be the coordination and organization of regional and international congresses, meeting and event activities.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Responsible for handling state-of-the-art virtual as well as of internal/external f2f-meetings and congresses with virtual component for all Therapeutic Areas across 18 countries incl. participant management
• Strong partner for the RCV brand teams in aligning and collaborating on event planning as part of the customer journey
• Undertake tasks to ensure a well-functioning customer and key external expert relationship throughout all event management phases
• Onsite-organization and responsible contact person for Boehringer Ingelheim’s regional event infrastructure
• Arrange and coordinate sponsorships with regional medical societies/professional congress organizers
• Act as team member and RCV representative in global and/or regional projects

Requirements

• Experienced in organizing and coordinating medium-size and large events with large focus on virtual/remote events
• Strong project management and negotiation skills in combination with structured, well-organized way of working
• Digital savvy, good communication and organizational skills as well as agile/open-mined
• Able to deal with difficult and unexpected situations, sometimes “trouble-shooting”
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is a must
• Willing and able to travel (depending on Corona situation)

For this position we offer an interesting salary package considering your expertise and personal competencies as well as your professional experience. We are obliged by law to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement, which amounts to € 37,016.14 gross per year (full-time) for this position, whereby an overpayment is possible.
