Purchaser Operations Central Europe (m/f/d)

Stora Enso WP is looking for a position Purchaser Operations Central Europe. Your location will be in Czech Republic (Ždírec nad Doubravou, Planá), Austria (Ybbs, Brand, Bad St. Leonhard) or Poland (Murow) and you will be working in Wood Products Division. You will report to Puchasing Manager Central Europe.

As Purchaser Operations Central Europe you will be responsible for:

  • plan and run negotiations within given framework and according guidelines
  • to secure the best price for all purchases
  • to generate and submit purchase orders
  • ordering inventory, supplies, equipment and services from given agreements.
  • confirming all orders and their subsequent delivery. This includes reconciling the shipments, manifests, short- and back-stocked orders and damaged items
  • to log all purchases into the purchasing system for proper tracking and classification.
  • to maintain a large database of vendors and contacts
  • providing assistance and advice to all department managers regarding inventory purchases and purchase cycles
  • coordinating deliveries and shipments of all inventory and supplies with department managers
  • give the chance to join a growing team and take on further reponsibilities

  • This is an information for Austria as required by law. A performance-related salary based on your qualifications, professional experience and market value. The monthly gross salary for this position is minimum € 2.500,00 plus a variable component

Requirements for applicants:

  • min.secondary school/ high school exam in engineering/technical or economics/finance/ Technical college (e.g. HTL/Fachschule)
  • 2-3 years experience in purchasing are an advantage
  • good knowledge in MS Office
  • good communication skills and influencing skills
  • technical knowledge is an advantage
  • Czech/German/Polish (locations language) necessary, good written and spoken English knowledge, German language big advantage
  • administrative skils and well structured
