What’s the role?
For our location in Lanzenkirchen, Austria we are looking for a new talent who wants to take the next step in her / his career path. As Supply Manager (f/m/d) you will set-up and improve the supply chain of new and existing products of Hilti’s Installation systems.

Our site in Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna, is Hilti´s Competence Center for Ventilated Façade and Installation Systems for Pipe rings and Heavy modular systems. As part of our Business Unit Installation we provide product development, supply, marketing and engineering. Our highly motivated international team works together with colleagues from all over the world in an entrepreneurial environment to bring innovative new products to the market.

What does the role involve?
As Supply Manager you will define and implement the supply set-up within the project scope under the functional leadership of Hilti to achieve all projects targets. Further, you will be responsible for implementing supplier strategies according to global Hilti AG standards and in line with the strategic planning of Hilti AG’s BU Installation.

Additionally, you will manage supplier management tasks e.g. negotiating terms and conditions with national and international suppliers and settle contracts globally. Specific responsibilities include also supply market research, supplier selection, contribution to supply operational excellence and escalation management with regard to our suppliers.

What you need is:
  • Master’s Degree (University/FH) in engineering or business administration, combined with min. 3 – 5 years working experience in a purchasing department of a global company
  • Extensive knowledge and skills in sourcing and supply chain management
  • Sound understanding of related raw materials (aluminum) and production with link to quality, availability, costs and productivity Outstanding negotiation & presentation skills on all levels
  • Solid understanding of project management and TTM-process
  • Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory, German is a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group IV which states a minimum salary of € 2.682,80 per month – gross and a minimum annual gross salary of € 64.000,- (in Austria it is legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary). Based on your individual professional skills and know-how and previous experience, we are willing to negotiate and offer an attractive performance-oriented remuneration package highly above the minimum salary.
