As Process Development Manager – Finance you will work at the interface between Finance and Information Management in Mondi Paper Sales GmbH, Mondi’s central sales company. Equipped with the highest analytical and technical skills, you will focus on our finance, sales and logistics processes from an IT perspective. In doing so, you will support both the daily operational requirements of the business as well as the long-term strategic goals. You will take on special projects and be the main point of contact for IT business processes in the finance area.

  • Provide daily support to the Finance community on ad hoc issues and problems
  • Eliminate difficulties faced by users in their daily work routines
  • Evaluate existing business processes from an IT perspective
  • Identify and outline possible business process improvements and test new scenarios
  • Compare the as-is and to-be situation to identify gaps and business requirements
  • Coordinate business process improvement strategies with internal stakeholders
  • Analyse implemented changes to business processes and make adjustments as needed
  • Train business team members on best practices
  • Drive digitisation and automation in the finance function in cooperation with the Finance Excellence and Digital Excellence group functions
  • Work closely with sales, customer service, supply chain and planning teams
  • Take ownership of special cross-departmental projects and initiatives
  • Be the main point of contact for IT business processes in finance
  • Identify and track potential improvements in external and internal interfaces (e.g. EDI)

  • Several years of professional experience in finance, information management or related areas as well as completed university studies in business administration or business informatics
  • Expert-level SAP knowledge, in-depth knowledge of one of the modules FI, CO, SD and LE
  • Very good Business Warehouse and Business Objects skills as well as all Microsoft programmes
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting, controlling and/or value-added taxes is advantageous
  • Experience with EDI is beneficial: e.g. EDIFACT, papiNet
  • Very good command of English, German or any other language is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, communicative and open-minded personality
  • Strong team player with a proactive work attitude
  • Ability to work independently and know where to get the information you need
  • Willingness to travel, 10-15%

  • Extent: full-time, 38 hours/week, all-in contract

Ref. Austrian “Bundes-Gleichbehandlungsgesetz”: The position is subject to the Austrian collective agreement of the “Papierverarbeitende Industrie” with a legal minimum wage of € 50.251,18 gross/year on a full-time basis plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder.
