PhD Candidate (m/f)
Your duties
- Concept, design and optimization of piezo ultrasonic transducers
- Production, characterization and improvement of prototypes
- Literature research and training in the field of ultrasonic and piezo transducers and materials
- Work within a multidisciplinary R&D group
Your profile
- Completed university studies – Microsystems, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Willingness to master the physics of ultrasonic and its transducers
- Experience with Matlab and/or Python
- Measurement with different types of equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, Signal generator, Impedance analyser…)
- Soldering and polymer processing capabilities
- High motivation and independent, structured working style
- English spoken and written
Salary: Starting from € 3.300 gross per month (14 times, fulltime)
