To strengthen the Marketing Controlling Team we are looking for a Controller at our Headquarter in Fuschl am See. In this Business Partner role you support our Marketing teams in various projects, run analysis, ensure the data quality of Marketing tools and lead the rollout in different countries.
RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
BUSINESS PARTNERING
Acts as the main point of contact for Headquarter Marketing departments and can challenge them when necessary
Works closely with various contacts, has a service mentality but also challenges them, elevates finance know-how, gives suggestions and fact-based insights
Reviews Marketing contracts and provides feedback, knows contract terms of vendors and partners and monitors status of spending commitments and payment schedules
Works closely with the Business Managers to increase the effectiveness of their marketing deals and spends
OPERATIVE CONTROLLING TASKS – REPORTING & ANALYSIS
Supports the Finance Manager Marketing in preparation of the management reporting package
Reviews actual postings, ensures Guideline compliance and keeps internal databases/booklets up-to-date
Coordinates the monthly accrual and invoicing process with budget owners and determine any budget risks/opportunities/changes in payment schedules
Works closely with other Finance departments (Treasury, Accounting & Tax Department) and Legal
Prepares and distributes on time monthly reports with full and detailed analysis of results and high-quality reporting to business owners, superior and department head
OPERATIVE CONTROLLING TASKS – PLANNING & FORECASTING
Supports and challenges the budget owners during the planning process (data entry, correct monthly phasing, CAPEX/OPEX planning, income allocations etc)
Prepares year-to-go best estimates for assigned departments (Global Partnerships and Marketing Departments)
Establishes a deep understanding of planned projects and deals
Provides planning reports & analysis to Business
FINANCE PROJECTS & SYSTEMS
Establish a profound understanding of our processes and system landscape
Provide know-how, improve, develop, test, train and support existing and new coming finance integration projects
Assist with global financial initiatives to ensure finance requirements and improve overall cost controlling (e.g. ticketing platforms, C4C integration, etc.)
SUPPORT FOR LOCAL FINANCE ORGANIZATIONS
Build up a profound understanding of our guidelines and ensure that local organizations are compliant to them
Run trainings as well as support countries for questions related to your scope of work
Support the immediate manager in different projects and analysis
Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
That matter most for this role:
* 2-4 years Finance experience ideally as Marketing Controller
* Experience in the field of tax and/or accounting as a plus
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Excellent Excel skills as well as overall IT affinity
* Practical knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP BI and Hyperion as advantage
* Organizational talent, self-responsibility, performance and result orientated
* Self-motivated, flexible, open-minded person
* Someone who enjoys working in a fast paced team environment
* University degree in Finance/Business economics/Controlling
* Fluent English, German skills as advantage
