Job Overview
We are:
• a small, highly international team of 20 people building up a young company in the health sector related to personalized medicine and SARS-CoV-2 testing
• we have excellent position in the pharmacogenomic sector, a promising discipline in the field of personalized medicine
• we have extensive experience in SARS-CoV-2 testing using advanced PCR technology
• we have outstanding working conditions on the Campus Anif near Salzburg (newly furbished laboratories, state-of-the-art equipment, an on-site canteen and free parking to name a few)
Laboratory Technican – Laborant/In
Tasks we need assistance with:
- Handling/processing of incoming bioprobes
- Execution of analytical tests
- Basic/general laboratory support (preparing solutions, validation experiments, laboratory/equipment maintenance, etc.)
- Light administrative duties (documentation of all analysis relevant activities)
The candidate should have:
- At least 3 months basic practical laboratory experience
- Basic molecular biology knowledge (practical and/or theoretical knowledge on PCR and real-time PCR is a plus)
- Previous experience using pipette men

- has excellent knowledge of English and likes working with computers
- is reliable, responsible and meticulous regarding working duties
- shows readiness and willingness to work on weekends

- The minimum basis salary according to the collective agreement KV Handwerk u. Gewerbe, VW III after 4 years of experience amounts to € 2.200,24. Negotiation on salary is possible depending on your qualification and professional experience.
