Key Account Manager Europe for textile fashion brands (m/f)

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

  • Manage strong key client relationships on key brand and retail level, act as #1 contact person for these accounts: further grow account relationships and develop account performance
  • Connect brands and retailers with Lenzing value chain partners to put together cross-regional programs
  • Promote specialty fibers, generate demand and promote co-branding at brand and retail accounts to create pull for fiber sales and drive premiumization
  • Identify and capitalize new business opportunities with dedicated brands & retailers
  • Create marketing and communication concepts in collaboration with brands and retailers (storytelling, co-branding, POS promotions)
  • Provide effective support for implementation of account’s sales & marketing activities and planning by compiling reports on progress and deriving actionable tasks and learnings
  • Provide input to other commercial teams to support strategy development

Our expectations for this exciting role

  • Textile or commercial university Degree in Sales Management, Economics or Textile Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in textile sales or account management with well-known textile retail Brands
  • Sound knowledge of the production and sourcing process of raw material within textile / fashion Industry
  • Understanding of their decision drivers within the supply chain of your key accounts (textile fashion brands) acquired through working experience at fashion Brands
  • Strong ability to translate customer needs and pain points into value adding solutions
  • Knowledge and ability in defining and implementing marketing initiatives and programs
  • Excellent stakeholder influencing and relationship building skills
  • Fluency in English plus good listening and communication skills (additonal european languages are plus)
  • Advanced IT Skills (CRM system, MS Office, SharePoint), familiar with digital media
  • Willing and eager to travel up to 50% of working time to meet your key accounts
  • Empathetic person with hands-on mentality, good listener, networker & team player
The annual gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 60.000,00 with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
