Job description
Our Application Engineering Laboratory delivers state of the art measurements and characterizations of our magnetic speed and current sensor to continuously support our business at global customers and to prepare the definition of the next generation products.
You will learn how to perform sophisticated measurements and become responsible for specific test benches.
Your Responsibilities:
- Working with an automated handler for sensor calibration
- Execution of measurements and reporting results
- Guarantee reliability and accuracy of measurements
- Define and build test benches for new measurements, including mechanical, electrical and software components
- Continuous improvement of measurement software and test benches to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Interface to suppliers for mechatronic equipment

Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you are studying mechatronics, electronic engineering or computer science. You are a team player with good communication skills, full of self-initiative, reliable for accuracy of results and very meticulous in your daily work.
The following skills make you the perfect fit:
- Basic understanding of mechatronic systems
- Basic understanding of electric measurements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge in basic Software like LabVIEW/VBA
- Fluent in English, German as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. Bachelor students receive a compensation of 1.914,45 Euro gross p.m. (Full-time basis for Bachelor students) and Master students receive a compensation of 2.242,19 Euro gross p.m. (Full time basis for Master students).
