THE POSITION

As of now we are seeking for a Regional Healthcare Compliance Manager (m/f/d) to join our Compliance & Ethics Department at BI’s site in Vienna. The focus of the position will be to support the implementation of the Global Compliance Program and other corporate policies in our RCV region (Austria, Switzerland, CEE & Central Asia)

Tasks & responsibilities
  • Support and proactively drive implementation of the Regional Compliance Program (risk assessment, training, policies and procedures, monitoring and investigations of compliance violations with focus on Healthcare Compliance
  • Manage and oversee internal and external transparency & reporting requirements in healthcare compliance
  • Manage a network of healthcare compliance champions in the region
  • Advise and provide guidance & training on healthcare compliance to other functions (Human Pharma) and RCV countries (e.g. Code of Conduct, HC Compliance)
  • Compliance review and approval of interactions with external stakeholder in healthcare.
  • Monitor amendments in the legislation and assess the impact for the company
  • Maintains good knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in Austria and in the EU as well as of national and international industry codes relevant for the function
Requirements
  • Master’s degree preferably in Law, Economics, B.A. or Pharmacy combined with min. 3 years’ experience in a pharma/medical device in Legal, Compliance, or other functions requiring knowledge of pharma regulatory (e.g. Medicine, Commercial etc.)
  • Alternatively, 3-5 years of experience in ethics & compliance in an international law firm
  • Previous experience in anti-corruption and compliance management would be considered an advantage, same applies to working experience in the CEE Region
  • Excellent ability to analyze and understand legal and regulatory provisions and to apply them in business processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German

We offer an attractive salary package in line with your qualification, experience and individual competencies. The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least € 55,000 gross per year/full-time).
