Financial Analyst – Spare Parts (m/f/d)

The Financial Analyst (m/f/d) for Service Parts Analyst – will be responsible for analytics around key service product line – spare parts, will perform review of key financial metrics on a monthly basis prior to submission to Services Finance Leader, will provide technical guidance and support to Operational teams, to ensure overall spare parts process is effective, efficient and compliant with the INNIO policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform planning for spare parts by collaborating with regional teams and support Service Finance leader and Service leader with respective analytics / metrics / KPIs
  • Run pacing with the regional teams, share actuals, calculate and share spare parts run rate split by regions, discuss and explain regional dynamics / risks / opportunities to the Service Finance leader / Service Leader
  • Participate in monthly financial closing by booking the required manual journal entries (unbilled revenue, cost capitalization, deposits), analyze sales and margin and explain the main drivers for changes
  • Prepare key financial metrics related to Spare parts on a monthly basis and report to Service Finance Leader / Service Leader / Business Controller / CFO
  • Liaise and collaborate with Operations and other Finance teams to solve complex accounting / service finance issues and implement sustainable working solutions
  • Review and validate savings related to spare parts product line driven by Service productivity team
  • Support Operational teams with spares actuals by customer to enable additional sales
  • Provide data for KPMG audits, collect backups, explain the process controls in place
  • Prepare account reconciliations for unbilled revenue and cost capitalization accounts

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration
  • Extensive professional financial experience e.g. Accounting
  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions
  • Able to clearly communicate complex financial information
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills: experience with financial systems/applications (SAP, ERP, Oracle), strong Excel skills
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus
  • A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.390,26 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
