Job Description

In this position, we seek for a person with passion about our products (components, safety), who wants to contribute with his/her expertise to further drive Product Development and Marketing.

Reporting directly to the Management Board Strategy and Innovation, the Director Business Unit Components & Safety will be leading a team (Product Management, R&D, Marketing) and is fully accountable for the business success of the respective products and services.

Among others, the responsibilities include:

Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and realize Doka’s product strategy and roadmap for the field Components & Safety.

Product Management: Drive the product & service innovation processes as well as product improvements aiming at meeting our customer’s needs. Analysis and evaluation of the market and the competition with regards to new technologies, materials and services.

Pricing Management: Responsible for business models, positioning and competitive pricing strategy.

Promotion: Responsible for the development of a target group and market specific Go2Market strategy. Ensure a professional implementation internally and externally as well as evaluation.

Place: Evaluating and further evolving the existing Sales and Marketing channel strategies as well as developing new channel strategies tailored to the requirements of the target markets.

Innovation Management: Drive the product development process together with dedicated R&D resources and/ or Product Center Owner R&D.

Leadership: Enabling a work environment ensuring continuous development and high performance of individuals and the team. Responsible for the coordination and cooperation with all relevant departments such as Procurement, R&D, Marketing, etc.


  • Degree in Engineering or Economics with extensive work experience, ideally in Research and Development, Product Management and/or Marketing
  • Solid experience in the construction sector and formwork engineering with broad knowledge of the market and the competition
  • Financial understanding / business acumen
  • Well-developed leadership and communication skills
  • Resilience, assertiveness and a strategic- and solution-oriented approach to the job
  • Excellent command of English

Additional Information

In this position you will be placed in the collective agreement of the woodworking industry in the use group as of V. This corresponds to a minimum monthly collective gross salary of EUR 3,448.13. The actual salary depends on qualifications and relevant work experience.
