Join our Central Content Creation team as Development Executive!

In this role, you’ll develop premium content. This includes sourcing and communicating with independent producers and production partners for project submissions as well as coordinating with internal network teams and departments, including production management, legal and business affairs.

In this role, you’ll develop content for Red Bull Media Network and external broadcast and streaming networks. You’ll work closely with an international roster of production companies overseeing the production process from the concept phase to delivery. In addition, you’ll collect, pre-select and evaluate delivered concepts and treatments, provide development feedback, and create proposal for further approval.




As Development Executive you’ll actively take part in informative and motivational workshops, prepare presentations, and reports as well as presenting content, editorial direction, and workflows throughout Red Bull Media House to communicate mission.




You’ll maintain effective workflows with other departments to ensure transparency and efficiency. Alongside Production Management, you’ll monitor the development, production, and delivery process of all assigned projects, reminding stakeholders and producers of deliveries and deadlines, ensuring tracking tools are up to date and reliable.




Another part of the role is to drive the development of new content by researching, conceiving, and creating fresh, new ideas. You’ll write treatments and decks and you’ll pursue, develop, and maintain 3rd party production partners independently in order to expand development slate.



Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • 10+ years of experience in Development at a Senior Level
  • Proven track record developing and producing distinctive content, long-form, mid-form, and short form
  • Editorial expertise, with the ability to evaluate and give clear, constructive feedback on ideas, treatments, productions, etc.
  • Skills in coordinating and guiding production partners from concept development phase through to production and delivery
  • Clear understanding of the international content market, broadcast strategy, commissioning, programming, audiences, ratings, etc.
  • Ability to work well within a large, international organisation
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Fluency in English (additional languages such as French, German, Spanish and Portuguese are a plus)
  • Travel up to 10%

However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
