Demand & Supply Response Generalist (m/f/d)

Do you wish to work in a team that achieves outstanding results? We are looking for a Demand & Supply Response Generalist who will pro-actively provide operational support to our Demand & Supply Response Manager by monitoring day-to-day development of relevant metrics like the order income curve and provide analysis on ad-hoc basis for effective decision support. Furthermore, you will contribute in meetings, document decisions and follow up on actions and lessonslearned in case of supply disruptions.

Your job as a Demand & Supply Response Generalist in Borealis:

  • Monitors day-do-day order income, actual production and inventory development vs. plans, alerts and proposes opportunities for correction in case of deviation.
  • Provides analysis on ad-hoc basis for effective decision support through scheduling or response as well as monthly forecast calculations and reports on execution of the plan.
  • Contributes in meetings by documenting meeting decisions and actions as well as events and lessonslearned in case of supply disruptions.
  • Documenting the outcome of the meetings and decisions that were taken.
  • Continuously liaising with senior managers.
  • Improving the meetings format, documentation and information flow based on the feedback of the participants.
  • Providing administrative support to VP, Business Optimisation and Supply Chain.
  • Plays a relevant part in the alignment between planning and response/scheduling team and supports related project.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:

  • Strong self-confidence and stress resilience, combined with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Young professionals with an analytical mind and the attention to detail are welcomed.
  • Any prior experience in supply chain is welcome.
  • Advanced skill set with MS Excel is a must.


  • University degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business Management, Economics, Engineering).
  • Preferred: SAP-APO + R/3 or comparable planning and ERP tools knowledge.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Commercial literacy.

We offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement, reflecting your competencies and experience, starting at EUR 50.000,00 annual gross salary and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
