Corporate Business Development Manager – Focus M&A (f/m/d)

PALFINGER is the global market leader in lifting solutions with several businesses in the land and maritime sector. Our product portfolio reflects the most innovative, reliable and economic hoist-equipment and is setting standards in the industry. To strengthen our team in Bergheim we are looking for a dynamic and motivated team player who is interested in strategic and financial matters. Together with us you will take part in defining the future strategy of the PALFINGER group and drive the sustainable growth.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Driving M&A transactions with a special focus on strategic fit, valuation, due diligence and synergy identification
  • Creating value-adding scenarios and transferring strategic options into solid business cases
  • Proactive management of projects and cross-functional teams
  • Organizing and developing the content of top management meetings, such as decision memos
  • Conducting workshops in your own responsibility
  • Taking over responsibility for work packages and initiatives in the field of corporate finance, strategy development and other special projects

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in business and/or a technically oriented study
  • 4-6 years work experience in the industry in an analytical work environment or management consulting
  • Cross-functional and/or international business experience / desirable
  • Openness to travel
  • Strong analytic and conceptual capabilities
  • High level of interpersonal and intercultural skills combined
  • Fluent in English, German as a plus

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 43.314,74. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
