Consolidation and Group Reporting Analyst

OVERVIEW
The holder of this position will be a key contributor to the closing process and will be responsible for all aspects in the consolidation of the Global Blue group. This includes assisting the corporate consolidation financial close process, inter-company process, preparing timely consolidated financial statements, providing the analysis for consolidated financial statements, and working with the team to develop and maintain effective internal controls around the consolidation and close process. This position is involved in the drafting of quarterly and annual financial statements. Additionally, this role will assist in other significant projects under the supervision of the Manager, Consolidation& Reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Consolidation
- Taking part in monthly Group Consolidation (inter-company reconciliation, eliminations and adjustments etc.)
- Support function for investment register
- Monthly analysis/checks of reported date
Annual closing
- Support in producing part of the financial statement in accordance with IFRS
- Support in writing instructions to the year-end supplements
- Support in the audit process within the area of responsibility
- Support in IFRS calculations such as:
- Impairment tests:
- Shares in subsidiaries
- Customer relations ships
- Trademark
- Goodwill
Other
- Co responsible for parts of corporate finance manual
- Co responsible for implementation of new IFRS rules in the group
- Support in writing and implementation of group accounting instruction in accordance with IFRS and Group accounting rules.
- Audit recommendation follow up
- Support IFRS roll out at country level and country support going forward
- Support in the audit process
- Training and education within area of responsibility
- Develop internal reporting processes going forward
- Support in IFRS / consolidation related projects
REQUIREMENTS
- BA in Finance, Accounting or an equivalent degree
- Min. 3 years of experience in Consolidation or Audit
- System knowledge: HFM – preferable or SAP
- Good IFRS skills
- Deep Accounting knowledge
- Fluent in English (both oral & written)
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent, goal-oriented and self-motivating personality
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Team player
- Ability to work in a matrix organization with team distributed in different time zones
- Proven ability to work in a group

As required by Austrian federal law, we hereby state that the legal annual minimum compensation according to the Austrian collective agreement amounts to € 36008.00 gross annual. The total compensation package is market-oriented and will be subject to individual agreement based on your professional and personal qualifications.
