The publicly listed Semperit AG Holding company is an internationally-oriented group that develops, produces, and sells highly specialised rubber products for the medical and industrial sectors: examination and surgical gloves, hydraulic and industrial hoses, conveyor belts, escalator handrails, construction profiles, cable car rings, and products for railway superstructures.

The headquarters of this long-standing Austrian company, which was founded in 1824, are located in Vienna, and the global R & D centre is in Wimpassing, Lower Austria. The Semperit Group employs around 6,900 people worldwide, including close to 3,600 in Asia and approximately 900 in Austria (Vienna and production site Wimpassing, Lower Austria). The group has 14 manufacturing facilities worldwide and numerous sales offices in Europe, Asia, America and Australia.

In 2019 the Group generated revenue of EUR 840.6 million and an adjusted EBITDA (without one-off effects) of EUR 63.8 million.

Compensation & Benefits and HR Controlling

Major Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective HR Coordination with regional/local HR teams on Compensation & Benefits activities related to local labor markets and sound international mobility management
  • Drive Semperit Group Compensation & Benefits programs, including market and peer companies benchmarking, collective bargaining agreements and wage cost comparison
  • Actively manage the relationships with third party suppliers for Compensation & Benefits and International Mobility (e.g. global tax consultant, relocation agent, advisory partners)
  • Drive strategic and operational HR Projects (e.g. SuccessFactors implementation and maintenance, M&A projects, salary increment, promotion, market adjustment, job evaluation, HR policies)
  • Draft & implement HR Controlling Strategy in close cooperation with Group Finance

 

Requirements:

  • University degree – preferable in economics or business administration
  • More than 5 years of experience in an international HR or Finance – corporate experience is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills
  • Excellent communication and intercultural understanding
  • Very good command of English

Gross monthly salary: from EUR €3,500.00 (in accordance with the collective labour agreement); higher rates dependent on professional qualifications and experience
